When you change your nervous system, you change your life.
For those who suffer from things like chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and most inflammatory conditions, learning to manage and enhance our nervous system can be life changing. In doing so, we learn how to activate our own internal self-regulation system, training our entire body to be in a state that’s calm and relaxed, yet alert and ready to respond to whatever life throws at us. This is the state in which we are best able to connect with ourselves and others, and experience a sense of overall wellbeing.

THE SCIENCE
The vagus nerve has long been known to impact upon physiology. In more recent years, researchers have been interested in the potential of the vagus nerve to act as an indicator of general wellbeing. Its activity is measured via heart rate variability (HRV), a metric derived from the difference between beat-to-beat time and power output of the heartbeat. Measurement of vagus activity - known as vagal tone - has lead to the realisation that not only can it be used as an indicator of wellbeing, but, through interventions that increase vagal tone, the nervous system can be retrained to coordinate responses that improve social, physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Give yourself the skills, knowledge, and confidence to manage your health and achieve the vitality that comes with wellbeing that resonates from within.
